How to Guarantee the Quality of PCBs?

As we all know, quality is the life of products. So for a PCB manufacturer ，how to guarantee the quality of the PCBs is the key question we have to solve first. For Fast Turn, we focus on the two main factors for the PCB quality control.

Quality Control in PCB Design
PCB design is the first step for a PCB board. Once if there is any problem in the design, we will have trouble going on with the project. For Fast Turn. Even though some of the designs from our clients are not from our own layout team, It is our responsibility to have a rigorous check about the PCB design. We will go from the following aspects:


• Validity of PCB design file has to be ensured. Our engineer team will review the file for free to make sure the design file is valid and the corresponding procedures are implemented. If not, our engineer team will give feedback and our suggestions to revise the design.


• Manufacturability of PCBs has to be ensured. If the file is good, our engineers will do a free DFM to make sure that technological requirement is capable for the board and if the board is manufacturable or not for its own design. Technological requirement after checking should not only meet the present production craft level with high cost effectiveness but also leave much convenience to implementation of subsequent assembly, debugging and checking.

Quality Control in PCB Manufacturing
After checking and confirming the design drawings that will be applied by PCB manufacturing for many times prior to manufacturing and it is ready for the fabrication, the most important part is to control the quality during the process. This is the main task for our Quality department.

One question we get asked at least one time each week is whether or dual socket motherboards meant for dual processors can work with one CPU. A common driver behind this question is because dual processor motherboards allow for easy expansion at a later date.
